Associate in the Leasehold Enfranchisement Department.
What I do and who my clients are
- Collective enfranchisement under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (LRHUDA 1993);
- New lease claims under the LRHUDA 1993;
- Right to manage claims under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 (CLRA 2002);
- Tenant’s rights of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 (LTA 1987)
My achievements and other appointments
I obtained a 2:1 Honours Degree in Law from the University of Sussex. After completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London I obtained a training contract with a niche Mayfair firm. Upon qualifying in 2007, I remained in Mayfair as an assistant solicitor where I primarily dealt with all aspects of Leasehold Enfranchisement and high value residential conveyancing until I moved back down to the South Coast in 2014.
I am a keen sports fan and if I’m not watching football or tennis, amongst others, I am trying to improve my golf, tennis or sailing skills. I am also a huge movie, music and nature lover and was proud to be a member of the Young Ornithologists’ Club. I also set up the pro bono service for the deaf at the College of Law, Store Street.
