Solicitor in the Private Client department
I am an experienced private client solicitor and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I enjoy all aspects of private client work, helping clients to ensure their affairs are managed as best as possible and their wishes are carried out and that they receive support and good advice in important matters or at difficult times.
I qualified as a solicitor in 1981 after studying law at Birmingham University. I worked in London for 34 years, firstly in a high street practice in Highgate Village and then for 30 years in a high street practice in Croydon where I was a partner for 10 years. I joined the firm in early 2014, near to where I live in Sussex.
Outside work I enjoy family life, playing tennis, walking on the South Downs or by the seafront, reading, listening to music and going to the theatre. I am involved in my local Amenity Association and Community Partnership at Hassocks and Chair our local Rail Group which campaigned for and succeeded in having a new station built at Hassocks in 2013/14.
